One of the hardest things about having a blog is working out how regularly to post. And then there is the challenge of whether or not to post each and every blog to my Facebook group or not… it’s a challenge to strike the right balance. I guess that could be said about every aspect of life and the pursuit of balance.

A healthy balance between work and non work, for instance. The balanced meals we are supposed to have. Balancing copious amounts of coffee with as much water. Balancing between posting, and not. Sharing, and not.
Gah.
It’s occasionally overwhelming, and the fear of getting that balance wrong is almost a reason to stop.

But my gym journey has taught me that things worth doing are worth getting wrong sometimes because that’s how we get better and learn and improve.

So my plan today - I want to write therefore, I’ll write. Sounds simple enough. I’m not going to share this one out of here though because the last thing I want to do is constantly make a phone ping and drive people away if they/you are here to feel empowered and inspired.

Yeah you might just be here to be nosey, you might just have stumbled onto my blog from a Google search, who knows how you found me, hell, maybe you’re an ex realising what you missed out on… or not. Ha!

But maybe when I feel the need to write and waffle I’ll do so here and I’ll do one big blog post a week and make reference to these shorter interim ones within that one?

If you are reading this, what are your thoughts on how often to share? I have actually started making vlogs too, on the wise words of my brother and I’d like to get those started on a YouTube channel and probably start a new Instagram that hasn’t been ruined by being shadow banned. That’s a long story and definitely one for another time!

Anyway, right now I’ve just finished forty minutes on the cross trainer/elliptical and it was nothing short of TOUGH today. Especially after a 5k walk on the not so flat Cannock chase this morning.

I’m now doing a cool down walk on the treadmill whilst I write this and then I’ll go and stretch and then head home to shower and sort stuff for a busy day out tomorrow!

Anyway, just putting this here to let you know that I still dislike cardio and I still sweat like it’s 100degrees in here. I know I like to talk up my exercise these days but it’s rare that I just do cardio and so in order to share the not so fun bits, to show you the real me, I’m letting you know.

What a huge waffle to just say - 40mins on cross trainer has knocked it out of me.
